About Giesinger Elementary

Giesinger Elementary opened in the fall of 1990. The school was named for Imogene Giesinger who was an outstanding administrator, teacher, and educator in our district. Since the schools beginning, we have fostered high academic standards along with a nurturing environment that encourages all students “to soar to excellence.”  In 2014 Giesinger was honored to be named a National Blue Ribbon School. Our vision is to provide a positive, caring, and challenging environment of excellence in which each child is successful and achieves maximum potential.

Parents are encouraged to schedule conferences with their child’s teacher. Conference times are listed below under Frequently Asked Questions. We encourage parent involvement and have an active PTO that supports our staff, students and school programs. Please contact me if you have any concerns or questions. I am looking forward to a successful year with our Giesinger Eagles!
